3H Technology implemented eSnap™ at the Ypsilanti Public School District (YPSD)
in Michigan. YPSD wanted to search for students by attributes such as district number, name, current grade, ethnicity and gender. They also wanted to search for teachers by attributes such as social security number, name, hire date, disability, and ethnicity. They identified six different Snapins for viewing their data: General Student, Student General Profile, Discipline Data Summary by Infraction, Discipline Data Summary by Class and Student Disciplinary Profile.
3H reviewed the YPSD environment in terms of infrastructure, actual and potential end- users, and the particular data that eSnap™ would have to integrate. The commonalities among the different data sources were factored through an in-depth questionnaire and interview process. Snapins were implemented to provide views of data which YPSD uses to compile reports. YPSD also employs eSnap™ in the general use of gathering student-related information. The product has allowed them to seamlessly access the information their user community needs when they need it.
