ElectroLease stands for Electronic
Leases. It is a document imaging software designed with the
special interests of real estate document portfolio professionals
in mind. The realty specialists can use the software to manage
leases and lease information electronically, greatly reducing
the amount of time previously spent filing and managing paper
documents. The software provides superior management of massive
storage and file administration requirements associated with
paper versions.
The
lease management software is configured for multi-user networks
for scanning, processing, viewing, storage and retrieval.
Electrolease has an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI)
enabling the user to quickly scan, OCR (Optical Character
Recognition), annotate, search and retrieve relevant lease
data in an electronic format. With the capability to search
document images based on lease number, SFO number, building
name, building address, agency name, lessor, or wild card
searches, ElectroLease provides one of the fastest search
engines available on the market today—allowing staff
to retrieve vital information in a matter of seconds.
Other salient features of ElectroLease include: hierarchical
sorting, bookmarking, thumbnail viewing (up to four pages),
key word filtering, annotation, zoom (without image distortion),
image rotation, image reduction (compression of legal to letter-sized
documents), and redaction (blacking out).
ElectroLease is a client/server-based application that has
been customized for the specific needs of GSA’s Real
Estate Division. Electrolease has been in use for the past
5 years at GSA’s National Capital Region – Region
11. It has already measurably improved customer performance.
The Department of Defense is also enjoying the benefits of
Electrolease by using the web version named WebLease.
ElectroLease offers other benefits, including a reduction
in storage and utilization costs; reduction in the amount
of time spent on organizing, distributing and filing documentation;
improved service to clients and customers; less time researching
answers; enhanced access and security of documents; and greater
durability in comparison to microfiche and paper.
