Medical, Vision, and Dental Benefits (Pre-tax Premium)

Coverage begins on the first of the month following your date of hire and is available to full-time employees and their dependents, including domestic partners.

  • Medical Plans - Choice of 3 Health Plans from Anthem BCBS
  • Prescription coverage is included with the Medical Plans, with no deductible and 3 co-pay tiers
  • Vision Plans - provide coverage toward an annual exam, glasses and contact lenses. Over 24,000 VSP network doctors nationwide
  • Dental Plans - 2 Options from Delta Dental. Both options include coverage for preventive care, basic and major dental services.
Life Insurance, STD, LTD, and AD&D Benefits

3H provides these benefits at no cost to the employee
  • Life Insurance: 2X annual base pay (maximum $600,000)
  • Basic AD&D: 2X annual base pay (maximum $600,000)
  • Short-term Disability: 70% of employee’s base salary up to a weekly maximum of $2,500 after a 8 day elimination period, for maximum of 12 weeks of benefits

Supplemental Term Life Insurance for Employees and Dependents

  • Can elect coverage in $10,000 increments
  • Maximum amount is the lesser of $600,000 or 5X annual salary
    Dependent Coverage
    You must elect supplemental insurance for yourself in order to cover your dependents
    • Spouse Life: Can elect coverage in $5,000 increments, up to $250,000.
    • Child life insurance: Can elect coverage of $2,000 – $10,000, in $2,000 increments

    Supplemental AD&D Insurance

    • Benefits paid for a covered loss (including life) due to an accident
    • Can elect coverage in $10,000 increments, up to $600,000
    • Can elect employee-only or family coverage
    • Dependents receive a percentage of your coverage amount, depending on your eligible dependents

401(k) Plan (Pre-tax)

  • You begin to participate the first of the month following your date of employment
  • Auto-enrollment makes participation effortless
  • 100% match on deferrals up to 2% and 50% match on deferral on the next 3%
  • User -friendly participant web-site to make access to your plan information easier

Education Assistance

  • Available for employees in satisfactory performance standing.
  • Reimbursement of up to $5,250 of tuition expenses for courses at an accredited college or university per calendar year

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) INOVA Healthcare

  • EAP benefits include 24/7 telephone counselor availability with multilingual and TDD services.
  • First five visits with a counselor and unlimited referrals at no cost.
  • Assessment and counseling for drug, alcohol and substance abuse, as well as other helpful services such as wellness newsletters.

Flexible Spending Plan (Pre-tax)

  • Medical Flexible Spending (up to $5,000 per year).
  • Dependent Care (up to $5,000 per year).

Transportation Plan (Pre-tax)

  • Metro Check and SmarTrip – Employee may set aside up to $115 per month pre-tax to purchase Metro Checks through payroll deductions
  • Parking Plan – Employee may set aside up to $220 per month pre-tax to purchase parking permits at certain lots near their work location or at Metro Parking Lots
