Press Release: 3H Technology, L.L.C. Highlights eSnap Capabilities at Information Sharing and Homeland Security Convention
Addressing the Information Sharing Challenge:
Today’s Government workers need information at their fingertips. Across the nation, agencies and organizations are searching for ways to gain real-time access to critical information throughout their enterprise. Such access is great in theory, but often time-consuming and inefficient in practice. The specific information a user needs is usually dispersed across many unconnected islands created and stored in diverse applications and databases. A major strategic objective of the newly formed Homeland Security Agency is to share and interpret information across the Intelligence and Law Enforcement communities, to Federal, State and local organizations.
3H Technology (3H) offers a creative and efficient solution: eSnap. It provides faster access to the information you need to create an Intelligence Profile on any individual, group or organization. eSnap by 3H is THE solution:
eSnap is a business portal that provides a single point of integration and access to widespread structured and unstructured data sources across multiple enterprise environments through a fast, secure, and unified web centric interface.
eSnap is a framework incorporating the necessary logic to tie information from distinct and/or heterogeneous databases into a single browser centric view. eSnap leverages the security models of the operating system, database engine, and the web servers.
“The ability to communicate and share data is essential to success to the mission of Homeland Security”.
eSnap is Successfully Implemented at the General Services Administration:
The Federal government’s General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), is tasked with the complex logistical challenge of maintaining and operating a large inventory of government buildings around the country. To monitor and manage these buildings, PBS analysts, accountants, engineers, and project managers must have access to a broad spectrum of data and information scattered throughout the enterprise — including text documents, spreadsheets, CAD drawings, and databases: 3H developed e-Buildings. Now, government employees can access all needed resources about any building nationwide, with a simple query by building name or number. Queries that once required phone calls, meetings, or special requests are now answered instantaneously, resulting in tremendous time savings.
Who is 3H Technology?
3H is a rapidly growing IT firm. We have global perspective and big picture vision for interagency and multi-jurisdictional projects. 3H has a DoD track record with US Navy and long term work history in the Federal sector, including major contracts for GSA. In response to the September 11th emergency, 3H - as part of the GSA contract support – supported the relocation of personnel in an operational network environment from the damaged Pentagon. It responded to the need for GSA ITD and its contractors to support all GSA employees contracted by the DoD, previously housed in New York and the Pentagon. 3H provided Network Engineers, hardware, and software, to design and construct a private network which would connect back to the GSA/NCR. The result was a highly functional and secure network environment to service a 24x7 operation and created in a fast turnaround time.
3H stands ready to support the Homeland Security Effort. Our popular eSnap product - and other 3H solutions and tools equally powerful - are out there- ready to be tapped. We see special opportunities for Information Sharing providers to deploy eSnap as an integral part of their IT strategy. We are a highly mobile, mission capable group with the latest certifications and field tested skills. 3H is prepared to demo eSnap at customer sites.
