On June 8, 2005, the Program Management Office and Software Development Divisions of 3H Technology were rated CMMI ® Maturity Level 2 in an externally-led SCAMPI Class A Appraisal. In addition, 6 of 11 Process Areas at Level 3 were evaluated at Capability Level 3.

In the area of process improvement, 3H has achieved a personal best - a truly extraordinary accomplishment by industry standards – in reaching CMMI ® Level 2 in less than 12 months. The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) estimates an average of 18 months to attain this rating; to reach Level 2 in less than 12 months, with significant progress on the Level 3 process areas, is indeed extraordinary.

This CMMI ® accomplishment gives 3H a valued industry credential and supports requirements of other standards such as ISO 9001:2000 (a certification held by 3H’s third Division, Network Solutions) and IEEE/EIA 12207.

The benefits of achieving this rating are myriad. The process improvements implemented as a result of this effort will continue to support 3H’s productivity and cost and schedule goals, both short-term and long-term for years to come.
